Montpellier Midsummer Fiesta!

I'm Back!

Just a short post with a few photos of the craft fair we did at the weekend just gone...
It was the Midsummer Fiesta in our university's town. I really enjoyed the day despite not making much money and having two really heavy downpours throughout the day! We packed up a 6pm but it went on till 10pm with more bands and with the fun fair. It was a really good laugh and the bands after we were done on the stalls were brill (seen them alllll before :D) It was great that we could stay to enjoy and relax after working there all day.

Shortest distance to carry all our stock to our table ever!!

I thought our stand was the best one we had done yet, sporting our lovely new bunting we all made the day before!

By the time we had the packed away the second heavy rain shower had stopped and the evening was actually quite a lovely one as we sat and enjoyed live bands and pizza :)

Okays, that's all for now. I really need to try finish some of the many items of work i have started!!

Have a brilliant week! and hope it doesn't rain for me, i'll be in a soggy tent in a muddy field otherwise...hahah

Creative Week

Hi guys,

Just wanted to let people know about a big craft based event i will be taking part in with my Whatnot buddies this saturday (the 9th). It's called the Midsummer Fiesta and it's in Montpellier Gardens in lovely Cheltenham. Hopefully it'll be sunny because it should be really fun there's about 100 stalls and entertainment including local bands like Midnight Mile (i've seen then live countless times on the local music pub scene and they are really good)
Anyway if you are free and around town come say hello :)

I've been busy (and still will be busy up til saturday) making stock for this. Here are a few things. I'll be back with more ;)

Old School Snish Owl Brooches

Mr Sock Lion (I can't tell if he's cute or creepy!)

Anyway i'm off now for a picnic my my sister in sun (she is currently waiting for me and getting angry heh ) and to do some sketching as well :)

Have a great day everyone

Home Town Craft fair and Car booting

Hi guys,

I've had a busy weekend just gone! On the saturday The Whatnot Tree (the craft collective i'm a third of) had a stand in our local town centre. It was a fun day and we didn't do to badly. I have some pictures from it to show...

Visit THE WHATNOT TREE for the links for my other crafty companions :) (though our website is still in progress! but the links work!)

Anyways, on the sunday i went to the glorious car boot fair at cheltenham race course with some friends. I got some neat things, really cheap as well! Including this little piece of awesome...i, being the ink crazed loon i am, immediately thought of getting it to display my bottles of the stuff...

pretty swell huh?

Also!...

I can't play much but i love it... it only cost me a couple of quid :D I was thinking of putting it on my wall once the novelty of jabbing at it wears off...

On a detouring last note, I have to introduce...
WONKY RABBIT.

He is a bit strange, but he is a one off. And as my friend has been saying...at least he's soft!
I'm thinking of taking bets to see how long it takes to sell this guy...hahaha.

Have a good week!

CRAFT FAIRS!

hi hi.
Me and some fellow illustration students did a craft fair in Gloucester a few weeks ago now!
It was good fun and good practice for what to do for future ones!

Here's a few pics of our lovely stall :)

We have a big christmas craft fair happening in Cheltenham on the 16th of this month for our next craft fair :) With lots of pretty new crafty bits and bobs from the illustration klan. It's on the last late night shopping night in the Cheltenham Art Gallery and Museum.
Here's some more info on it... Gloucestershire Events

COME ALONG if you're in the area. It's gonna be great!

Hope everybody's doing well :)
